Denfar, further to my comment mentioned on Mary's other blog (there seems to be 3 going at the same time) as you didn't pay any money at all I'm not sure whether the small claims court is right in your case.

The forms can be obtained from libraries or the county court in Kingston (not the Crown court) and they will tell you whether you can go down this route.

Not nice to be threatened by debt collectors but I bet they won't take you to court. If you stand your ground they may eventually give up.

Perhaps you will keep us posted?
